Hi. I was in Rome and Florence last Christmas. Florence is colder than Rome. And I think the average temperature in Rome is around 10. It was sunny most of the time without rain or snow. It will be very difficult for you if you wear high heels, especially in Rome. The hotels in both cities told us that according to Italian laws, they were not allowed to use heaters between midnight and 8AM, so it was rather cold in the night. ( I really don't know if it's the truth or not) For me, overcoat and scarves were enough. People wear jeans and sneakers a lot in Rome. I think it's better if you can check the weather forcast on the website before you go. The weather can be very different when you change your locations inside Italy. I hope there's any use to my too long answer. I enjoyed it a lot, I hope you too will love it.

Well... I have some bad news for you. It depends on where you flight is landing, but in Napels it is about 50F (10C). It sounds like it will be a bit chilly, with some of the day alittle bit warm.
